Capabilities

Artech has the experience and track record to build a successful title. While we bring advanced capabilities and technology to every title, we know it takes more to build a successful project. Our understanding of brand management and all the success factors that go into launching a global best-seller makes us stand out from the pack.

3-D Engine
Artech has developed and maintains a full featured 3D engine and tool set. This allows Artech favorable pricing compared to developers who must purchase renderers and development tools. As well support issues are non existant - the tool developers are just down the hall.

Console Development
Artech has experience on virtually every platform, often with simultaneous production of 4 or more formats. Artech is currently capable of developing for any of the major consoles.

Downloadable Games
Recent downloadable projects include titles for XBLA with Microsoft and Vivendi, as well as several multi player games with major portals including Iwin, Sierra On Line, Wildtangent, Netjet and others. Artech provided much of the the content programming for the Nabu Network – the very first ever downloadable interactive cable system (1983)!

Localization
Artech routinely localizes multiple language versions simultaneously – at times up to 10 languages. Services include translation, recording, casting, production with native language directors, voice dubbing and voice over. All localizations are done using a powerful web based database for tracking approvals and changes. Patch in to recording sessions are also routine.

Full Service Art and Animation
Our graphics studio includes classical animation and a 3D facility featuring Motion Builder, Alias, 3D MAX film quality production that augments an in house blue screen facility

Serious Games
Artech was one of the very first to develop learning software for kids including the popular Wizard of Id series: Wizmath (1983) and Wiztype (1984). The company created a series for The Smithsonian in Washington DC and published as an affiliate label of Broderbund in the 1990s. We have also developed simulations for Museums and Air Traffic Control schools.

Custom Programming
Artech created the Sega VR library, the Sega sound tools and various demos for Sega and other publishers for E3 and trade shows. The company also produced both hardware and software for Akai and Krammer guitars and custom broadcast software for live sports.
