By extending the TEF, the authors declare that organizations are not in pure bureaucratic or network organizational kind during digital transformation; as an alternative, they need a hybrid mixture in order to help competing strategic wants for nimbleness and resilience simultaneously. The four hybrid organizational types introduced in this model permit for networks and forms to coexist, though at completely different ranges depending on the level of resiliency and nimbleness required at each point within the steady digital transformation journey.
